Jalen Johnson NBA Draft Profile
Strengths
Jalen Johnson is a phenomenal athlete. He is able to block shots on one end and finish at the rim on offense. Johnson has a nose for rebounding and has the physicality to box out opponents that are bigger than him. He also is showing signs of excellent play-making ability and is looking to make highlight-reel passes.
Weaknesses
Jalen Johnson has yet to develop a consistent jumpshot, and his shooting mechanics look very stiff. For as much of an athlete as Johnson is, there is also concern of his ability to stand out against the pack at the NBA level, where pretty much everyone is athletic. Johnson also only appeared in 13 games, but the small sample size should not scare teams away.
Pro Comparison
Aaron Gordon, Rudy Gay, a bigger RJ Barrett
