Fantasy Football Week 8 QB Streamers

Sam Howell Fantasy Outlook (31.5%)

Sam Howell fantasy football owners have been rewarded in games where Washington trailed, for the most part. This includes the Commanders’ Week 4 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles, with Howell putting up 19.6 fantasy points on 41 pass attempts.

All signs point to Washington falling even further behind than the last time he faced the Eagles. Yes, pass protection is a worry for Howell, though he was sacked five times in the previous meeting that I mentioned above. Expect a heavy dose of this Washington passing attack on Sunday, which means positive things for Sam Howell fantasy football owners.

Derek Carr Fantasy Outlook (18.7%)

While Derek Carr struggles in the red zone and hasn’t been great in reality this season, he is turning it on for fantasy football. No, it doesn’t feel like he has week-winning upside, but he could be one of the safer fantasy football Week 8 QB streamers options against a middle-of-the-road Indianapolis Colts defense this week. The past three weeks for Carr has resulted in totals of 16, 17 and 18 fantasy points, so lock him in for a solid 19-point performance this weekend (obviously).

Mac Jones Fantasy Outlook (4.2%)

Mac Jones looked like a new man last week, putting up his best performance of the season in a matchup with the Buffalo Bills. This week, he faces a rematch against the Miami Dolphins, who surrender the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.

In the first matchup of the year, Jones completed 73.8% of his passes for 231 yards, one touchdown and an interception. This was Week 2, and the New England Patriots offense appears to be a bit further along now, which could be good things for the offense this week. The health of the Dolphins’ secondary is also in question. If you are in need of a fantasy football Week 8 QB streamers option, don’t be afraid of Mac Jones.
