Week 2 is in the books! When it comes to the tight end position, fantasy managers either aim for an elite tight end or look for fantasy football streamers on the waiver wire. Streaming a tight end each week can be a nightmare because the position is essentially a wasteland more often than not, aside from the usual top options. However, if you’ve taken this route this year, read on for three fantasy football Week 3 TE streamers that are worth your consideration.
Players must be owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 3 TE streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.
Fantasy Football Week 3 TE Streamers
Logan Thomas Fantasy Outlook vs. PHI (31.6%)
The tight end position is tough to gauge. When one receives plenty of looks in a decent-looking offense, fantasy managers should definitely consider him. Carson Wentz has looked solid through two games, but that’s primarily because of his weapons. Logan Thomas fantasy football owners have enjoyed the start to the season, as he has caught over half of his 11 targets in two games and is currently ranked as the TE10. Thomas’ target share will obviously only be high if Wentz is playing unlike normal Wentz, but he’s been a consistent option the last few years.

Gerald Everett Fantasy Outlook vs. JAX (47.5%)
Why are fantasy managers not picking up the TE4 right now? Still under 50 percent ownership, Gerald Everett has been extremely impressive, seeing 14 targets and double-digit fantasy points in the first two games. With injuries plaguing the team last week, Everett stepped up and showed why he deserves the playing time. It’s unclear how long this workload will last but a matchup against the Jaguars, who sit right around the middle of the league when it comes to points against opposing tight ends.
Evan Engram Fantasy Outlook at LAC (21.5%)
Evan Engram is certainly more of a watch-and-hope situation right now, but we’ve seen how injury-prone and overall inconsistent he can be. His current situation may be worth the Week 3 fantasy football TE streamers look because he’s caught all but one of his 12 targets through two games and has nearly eclipsed double-digit fantasy points in both. In a game where the Jaguars could potentially be forced to throw the ball more, Engram could find his first touchdown of the season.
