Fantasy Football Week 15 RB Streamers
Tyler Allgeier Fantasy Outlook (40%)
Tyler Allgeier carried the ball nine times for 40 yards in a 29-25 loss to the Buccaneers in Week 14. He’s yet to top his Week 1 performance which led to him being one of the top waiver wire adds heading into Week 2. Since that performance, which saw him as RB4 for the week, his weekly average finish has been RB39.
Despite his poor output, Week 15 offers some upside for him. That Week 1 matchup, where he had his best performance, was against the same Carolina Panthers that the Falcons play this week. We can count on Allgeier to flirt with double-digit carries. With his potential to find the end zone in a game that should post an RB-favorable game script, Allgeier can be trusted in most lineups.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Jerick McKinnon Fantasy Outlook (37%, 39%)
Clyde Edwards-Helaire rushed for 39 yards on 11 carries and caught two passes for 29 yards in the Chiefs’ 20-17 loss to Buffalo on Sunday. CEH was the spot starter in Week 14 as Isiah Pacheco was sidelined with a shoulder injury.
Edwards-Helaire wasn’t the most efficient runner this week, and he got touchdown-poached by Jerick McKinnon. If Pacheco were to miss Week 15, though, then Edwards-Helaire remains firmly in the flex conversation in a Week 15 matchup with the New England Patriots on the road.
On the flip side, Jerick Mckinnon is another Chiefs option if Pacheco is out. He likely offers more touchdown upside than Edwards-Helaire, and he plays a larger role in the passing game out of the backfield.
Chase Brown Fantasy Outlook (1%)
Chase Brown rushed for 25 yards on eight carries in the Bengals’ 34-14 win over the Colts. He caught all three of his targets for 80 yards, including a 54-yard receiving touchdown. Brown, without a doubt, remains the backup to Joe Mixon. But even with that, Brown has likely earned a role in the Bengals’ backfield, especially in a receiving role. The Bengals will likely continue employing a somewhat conservative passing attack as they try to sneak into the playoffs, and Chase Brown has a chance to grow his role as a pass-catcher in a Week 15 matchup with the Vikings.
