Hopefully, these fantasy football rankings help to get you the win this week! Mike Gesicki has performed incredibly without Tee Higgins in the lineup, and the Cincinnati Bengals WR looks like he will miss Thursday Night Football. In the four games without Higgins, Gesicki has totaled 22 receptions for 282 yards and two touchdowns (compared to eight receptions for 71 yards in the other four games). While Gesicki is listed as a tight end, he plays wide receiver for the Bengals. Last week, he played 70% of snaps in the slot and 22% split out wide.
Dalton Kincaid has been very involved, but the results aren’t there. He has seen 6+ targets in six straight games, and he hasn’t been a top-10 fantasy TE in any of them. However, if he sees this type of target share against the Indianapolis Colts, then that may turn around. The Colts surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points to fantasy TEs this season.
Theo Johnson has started to get more involved, making him a worthwhile streamer this weekend. Johnson has seen three or more targets in four of the past five games, resulting in over 30 yards in all four of those games. Overseas this week, Johnson will play a Carolina Panthers team that allows the second-most fantasy points to tight ends.
Sam LaPorta has been a massive disappointment for fantasy football in his second season, ranking as TE18. He moved up the pecking order the past two weeks with Jameson Williams suspended. The result? TE8 and TE30 on nine total targets. Williams is back, and LaPorta faces a Houston Texans defense that has surrendered the fewest fantasy points to TEs this season.
