Jonathan Taylor took advantage of a positive matchup last week despite the rest of the offense playing poorly, running for 114 yards against the Bills. This week, Taylor faces a Jets run defense that has allowed points to the RB position. The Jets have allowed double-digit fantasy points in standard-scoring leagues to the starting RB in five straight games, with many of them breaking off big catches as well. Look for Taylor to be very involved in this game.
Najee Harris left last week’s game with an ankle injury, but all signs point to him playing against the Baltimore Ravens this week. While the Ravens stink against the pass, their run defense has been solid, as shown by our Strength of Schedule and fantasy points allowed data. So, this may not be the week to play a banged-up Harris.
Nick Chubb has had an impressive recovery from his gruesome knee injury, but he still has not had that “Nick Chubb” game to really make a statement. That could come this week against a bad New Orleans Saints run defense. The Saints allow the second-most yards per carry in the league (5.1). With Chubb seeing 15+ carries in back-to-back games, and then getting a bye week to rest up, could we see Nick Chubb’s first 100-yard game of the season?
