Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers face the Atlanta Falcons this week. While the Falcons’ secondary is talented, they are incapable of getting a pass rush. In fact, they rank dead last in sack percentage (2.58%). If Herbert is given time to throw, he will find the open man or use his legs to move the chains.
Geno Smith is coming off a big win, but now he travels to the other side of the country to play the New York Jets in an early game. The time difference could be tough, but so is the matchup. The Jets rank second in sack percentage (9.91%) and second in completion rate allowed this season (60.52%). Geno will get the ball out fast, but it may not be fast enough.
CJ Stroud had his moments last week where he looked solid. But ultimately, a second-half collapse was largely his fault and was the reason why he finished outside the top 10 of fantasy football QBs. This week, he gets a get-right game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags give up the second-highest completion rate (70.9%) and the most fantasy points to opposing QBs. Stroud played well against him earlier in the season, and he will look to do it once again.
