Bernhard Raimann Draft Profile
Strengths
Bernhard Raimann played tight end before his switch to offensive tackle, and it shows. He is a tremendous athlete who can absolutely fly on the football field. Raimann also resembles a big tight end out there, looking a bit slim. However, looks are deceiving, as he has true power behind him.
Weaknesses
Of course, having only played offensive tackle for a couple of years, Raimann still has plenty to learn. He also has packed on 60 pounds to play the position, though he could gain a bit more weight in order to face head-up rushers or to move bodies in the running game at the next level. Playing at Central Michigan, the level of competition was also low, which could have inflated Raimann’s play.
Possibly the most concerning is Raimann’s arm length. He is in the 10th percentile in arm length, which could be a concern out at tackle. His feet are great, but the lack of length will scare some teams off.
