Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 14 RBs
Start: D’Andre Swift Fantasy Outlook at Packers
Zach Brunner’s Week 14 Fantasy Football Rankings
As of writing, Kyle Monangai has not practiced this week, meaning we could see a heavier workload for Swift this week. The Packers being 6.5-point favorites also means Chicago may be forced to pass more in the second half, and this favors Swift as the receiving back.
But as far as running the ball, the Bears are hitting their stride. D’Andre Swift has run for 80+ yards in five of his past seven games, which includes three of his past four since Chicago’s bye. The Bears have averaged the fifth-most yards per carry this season (4.9). Look for Swift to touch the ball a lot on the ground and through the air against the Packers.
Start: Jordan Mason Fantasy Outlook vs Commanders
Jones injured his shoulder last week and is at risk of missing the game. If he is out, Mason is a clear fantasy start. However, even if Jones is active, we can expect Mason to take on more of a role in the game. More touches are good news, as he has continued to play well. Mason has had over 40 rushing yards in three straight games despite averaging just seven carries.
The Vikings should be able to sustain drives better in this game as well. More plays mean more touches, and moving the ball better means more scoring opportunities. The Commanders have allowed a league-high 6.3 yards per play. They have also allowed the sixth-most yards per carry (4.7), so look for Mason to be efficient with increased touches.

Sit: Woody Marks Fantasy Outlook at Chiefs
I am writing this Week 14 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em on Wednesday night, and Woody Marks did not practice today. I am assuming he plays, but if the rookie is out, I will transfer this “sit” blurb to Nick Chubb as well. The Houston Texans’ backfield draws a tough matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, and this game has a low projected total of just 41.5 points.
In the last three weeks, the Texans have averaged just 3.5 yards per carry (tied for fifth-lowest). The Chiefs’ defense is not a great matchup for them. Kansas City has allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to RBs, and they have allowed the fifth-fewest rushing yards to the position this season (912). There aren’t many points expected in the game, and teams have struggled to run against the Chiefs. So, the lack of projected touchdowns and yards doesn’t provide much optimism here.
Sit: Devin Neal Fantasy Outlook at Buccaneers
Yes, Devin Neal has been a popular waiver wire pickup over the past couple of weeks. However, you can go ahead and drop him, since there isn’t a good enough reason to play the New Orleans Saints’ rookie RB this week or in the future. Yes, Neal is operating as the lead back, seeing 17 touches last week. However, he did pretty much nothing with those touches against the Miami Dolphins, so there is no reason to believe things get better against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Few have been worse at running the ball than the Saints over the past three games (3.1 yards per carry). Tampa has been average against the run, so the matchup itself is not a red flag. However, after running for 47 yards on 14 carries against the Dolphins, it is clear Neal must have a good receiving game to save his fantasy day. It’s too big a risk for not enough reward in your league’s final regular-season week.
