Week 4 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em QB analysis from FlurrySports includes the likes of Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith.

As we enter Week 4 of the NFL season, we have a clearer idea of how players and teams will shake out this year. With that being said, it is still trust the good players, and if something surprised you last week, then that could be a good indication to be skeptical. As you will see with the players on my list of Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em QBs below, we are trusting what we know this time around.

To help you with the tough decisions at passer in Week 4 of the NFL season, we have our weekly Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article! No, you will not be hearing about Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson. Yes, start them. Who do they play? Doesn’t matter. Instead, we will be talking about the players who may be on the borderline of that starting lineup threshold. They’re not a no-brainer starter. So, depending on the matchup, they could be a start or a sit. Get the format?

Now, labeling a player as a “sit” does not mean they are a must-sit player. As always, check out our weekly fantasy football rankings here. You can also become a member to join a group chat with Zach Brunner and other members where all fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em questions are welcomed!

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 4 QBs

Start: Geno Smith Fantasy Outlook vs Bears

Geno Smith sits on top of our list of Fantasy Football Start ’em quarterbacks this week, as he has a great matchup against the Chicago Bears. Smith is coming off his biggest week as a Raider, totaling 289 passing yards and three touchdowns. That put him at QB4 for the week. Even with Brock Bowers banged up, Smith was able to find a new target in Tre Tucker. It has become clear that Chip Kelly is willing to use Tucker’s big-play ability. Given the lack of the run game with the Raiders through the first three weeks, it has become clear that passing the ball is the way to go for the Raiders.

Going up against the Bears this week, Smith is in line for another top-10 week. On the season, the Bears have given up 88 fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, which ranks third-most in the NFL. Without Jaylon Johnson and a strong pass rush, using Smith’s arm is going to be key for the Raiders to pick up a win in Week 4.

Start: Jordan Love Fantasy Outlook vs Cowboys

After a week where Jordan Love was basically shut down against a strong Browns defense, he has more than enough chance to bounce back against the Dallas Cowboys. The Packers will go to Dallas on Sunday night, where they have had much success in the past. The Cowboys have been dreadful against the pass this season, giving up 96 total fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season, which is the most in the NFL. We saw Caleb Williams torch the Cowboys for 298 passing yards and four touchdowns, which put him as QB1 for the week.

We know that Green Bay wants to run the ball. In order to win this game, the Cowboys have to stop Josh Jacobs. If that is the case, Love and Matt LaFleur will be much more inclined to throw the ball. With weapons like Romeo Doubs, Tucker Kraft, Matthew Golden and Dontayvion Wicks, Love has more than enough around him to register a good week this week.

Sit: Dak Prescott Fantasy Outlook vs Packers

On the flip side of Jordan Love, Dak Prescott is in the “sit” section of our Week 4 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article. I gave you Prescott as a “start” last week against a bad Bears defense, and he more than underperformed. Now, he gets a matchup with the Packers, who have been as good as any on the defensive side of the ball this season. While Green Bay does not sport the greatest defensive backfield, its pass rush is more than enough to scare any offensive coordinator. When Dak gets uncomfortable, he will throw off-target passes. I also think Dallas can run the ball against Green Bay, so I am wondering if that is a key feature for the offense this week.

On top of the horrible matchup against Green Bay, Prescott is going to be without CeeDee Lamb. The star WR has established himself as one of the better receivers in the NFL over the past few seasons. Without Lamb, Prescott will not have those easy, quick throws that Lamb has made a living with. There is just too much going against Prescott to have any confidence in him this week.

Sit: Kyler Murray Fantasy Outlook vs Seahawks

Kyler Murray has been one of the most frustrating fantasy players this season. While the running is somewhat there, the passing attack is almost nonexistent. Outside of Trey McBride, Arizona looks to have one of the worst receiving rooms in the entire NFL. This week, the Cardinals get a divisional matchup against the Seahawks on a short week. This season, the Seahawks have given up just 45 fantasy points to quarterbacks.

Without James Conner this week, it is hard to believe that Murray will have a dominant run game. That leaves the Cardinals to rely on him to win the game with his arm. As I stated before, Seattle has been good against the pass this season. With a tough matchup, an inability to run, and a poor game plan as it is, Murray is a sit this week.
