Zach Brunner’s fantasy football WR rankings for Week 2 feature Ja’Marr Chase in a bounce-back spot!
It wasn’t a great first week of NFL action if you drafted the wide receiver position early, with players like Ja’Marr Chase, Nico Collins, AJ Brown, and Xavier Worthy losing you the first matchup of the season. However, we can probably expect a rather large bounce-back week for the position. In a pass-happy NFL, you can only hold down these pass catchers for so long!
Below, I have my fantasy football rankings for WR for Week 2. Below those rankings, I also have some insights for some of the players. Throughout the season, across the positions, these insights could be trends, advanced analytics, opportunities available to them, and more. So, check out the rankings for other positions as well:

Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Insights For Week 2
Hollywood Brown dominated targets last week, leading the NFL with 16. The game against the Eagles should be competitive, forcing the Chiefs to throw the ball plenty once again.
Malik Nabers saw 12 targets last week. This week, he faces a Cowboys defense that allowed a league-high 82.6% completion rate in their first game.
Nobody saw a higher target share than Jaxon Smith-Njigba in Week 1 (59%). While he had 13 targets, nobody else on the team had more than three.
Michael Pittman Jr. played well with eight targets last week. This week, he faces an elite Denver Broncos defense that limited the Titans to a 42.9% rate, with Calvin Ridley being the only wide receiver above 20 receiving yards (27).
DK Metcalf totaled 68 of his 83 receiving yards after the catch (YAC) in Week 1, after averaging just 18.7 YAC during his time with the Seahawks. The Steelers want to get him the ball in space much more. This week, he has a *REVENGE GAME* against his former team.
