There are only a few weeks left in your fantasy football regular seasons to try and make the playoffs. Don’t give up even, if you are out, you can still cost someone their chance at a title. The WR position can be that make-or-break position for your team. If you had Ja’Marr Chase on your team, then you won your matchup last week. On the other side of the stick, DeVonta Smith did not put up points last week and more than likely cost you the matchup. To help you make those WR2/3 decisions in your Week 11 lineup, keep reading for our WR Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em.

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 11 WRs

Start: Khalil Shakir Fantasy Outlook vs Kansas City Chiefs

Khalil Shakir has been sneakily good this year for the Buffalo Bills. Keon Coleman is out this week and both Amari Cooper and Dalton Kincaid could miss as well. Shakir can make this week big for him. Last week, with the WR duo out, Shakir had six receptions on nine targets for 58 yards, totaling 11.8 fantasy points. Shakir has a high floor and, with WR1 and WR2 possibly not playing, Shakir’s ceiling gets raised.

The Kansas City Chiefs defense has not been a pushover at all this season. The Chiefs defense has carried the team to most of their wins. They have given up the ninth fewest fantasy points to WRs this season. Although when it comes to the slot it is different because of the rotation they have. Because of that KC has given up the most yards to the slot. Shakir should be able to take advantage of that and score some points for your team in the game of the week.

Start: Calvin Ridley Fantasy Outlook vs Minnesota Vikings

The Tennessee Titans offense has been pretty bad so far this season. Last week, Calvin Ridley showed that he can be the star of this offense. Ridley went for 25.4 fantasy points against the Los Angeles Chargers. In the last three weeks, he has scored 60.3 points. Ridley has taken over to help whoever is at QB, whether it is Will Levis or Mason Rudolph.

The Minnesota Vikings have not been covering WRs that well this season. Minnesota gives up the third-most points in WRs on the year. Since the bye, the Vikings have given up an average of 14+ points to WR1s on the year (excluding the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, it goes up to 17.8). Ridley has been fantastic the last three weeks and can take over to score points for your team.

Sit: Josh Downs Fantasy Outlook vs New York Jets

The Indianapolis Colts WR 1B will be a sit for us this week. Josh Downs has been adequate the last two weeks with Joe Flacco under center. He will not be under center this week, as Anthony Richardson will take over for the rest of the season. Downs has done okay with Richardson at QB, but that was before they played the New York Jets.

The Jets have been really good at stopping opposing WRs so far this season. New York has given up the fewest points to WRs and the sixth-fewest to slot receivers (where Downs will be most of the time). Michael Carter II should have the stuff to lock up Downs this week. Leave Downs on the bench this week.

Sit: Jayden Reed Fantasy Outlook vs Chicago Bears

Jayden Reed has had a roller coaster of a season. Reed started off hot, scoring 30+ in Brazil, and came back down the next two weeks before going off for 23.6. Then, he cooled off after some 11-point games with 8.5 in two weeks. The Green Bay Packers had their bye last week to get their stuff in order to play against a divisional opponent this week.

Green Bay will go to Chicago to play the Bears. The Bears have given up the second-fewest points to WRs this season. That number goes down when you look at the slot guys. The Bears have given up the fewest points to slot receivers this season. That is where Reed will be most of the game, lined up against Kyler Gordon. Don’t start Reed this week.
