As we enter Week 8 of the fantasy football season, we may have even more questions about quarterbacks than ever before. While the play is improving overall, injuries are causing issues as well. This has affected many in the fantasy football community, leading to many relying on fantasy football Week 8 QB streamers. At this point in the season, I am not sure if you feel comfortable unless you have Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen.

Fantasy Football Week 8 QB Streamers
Bo Nix Fantasy Outlook (22.8% Owned)
The Denver Broncos take on the Carolina Panthers this week. Sitting at 4-3, the Broncos are currently number two in the AFC West with a chance to improve upon that record. Playing against the Carolina Panthers, the Broncos get the chance to do just that. That all starts with their rookie quarterback Bo Nix. Nix has thrown for 586 yards and four touchdowns over the past three weeks. It seems that as Denver has somewhat hit its stride, and Nix is becoming more comfortable in the offense. Nix has also been working his legs lately, running for 61 and 75 yards in back-to-back games. On top of that, Nix has recorded three rushing touchdowns on the season.
The Carolina Panthers present a great fantasy matchup for Nix in this game, as they continue to get torched through the air. The Panthers have given up 1,598 yards through the air and 14 passing touchdowns this season. With Andy Dalton being involved in an automobile accident and Bryce Young being Bryce Young, Denver should have ample opportunities with the ball in this game, meaning that Nix should have plenty of opportunities to pile up stats.
Russell Wilson Fantasy Outlook (17.7%)
The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the New York Giants on Monday Night Football this week, at 5-2 and currently tied with the Baltimore Ravens for the lead in the AFC North. With the Ravens taking on the Browns this week, it seems likely that the Steelers will need to win this game in order to keep pace in the AFC North. Luckily for them, they drew the Giants, who have been really bad against opposing quarterbacks this season. The Giants have given up 20 or more fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks in four straight games, making them a great opponent for fantasy football streamers.
In his first start this season, Wilson recorded 264 passing yards and two passing touchdowns, adding another touchdown with his legs. Wilson’s legs are always going to be a part of his game, so a rushing touchdown is always on the table. Add into the fact, that there seems to be a clear connection between Wilson and George Pickens and Pat Freiermuth. I fully expect Pittsburgh to win this game and Wilson to be a big part of that. Starting Wilson this week also gives you someone who plays on Monday night, so you will have something to root for in the game if you are not a fan of either team.

Jameis Winston Fantasy Outlook (1.8%)
The Cleveland Browns take on the Baltimore Ravens in a divisional matchup this week. It feels like the Browns were able to drop some dead weight off of their team, even though they still have to pay Deshaun Watson. While this is a game that the Browns probably won’t win, I am going to guess that fans will rally around Jameis Winston, because anyone is a better option than Watson. Either way, Baltimore probably goes up big in this game, which means Cleveland should be passing for a majority of the game, which means Winston has that many more chances to pick up fantasy stats.
Look what happened last week when the Ravens went up big on the Buccaneers. While Baltimore was playing conservatively, Baker Mayfield was able to cash in a strong fantasy day. I can certainly see a similar situation here for Cleveland. The Ravens are also dead last in passing yards given up this season, at 2,159. They have also given up 14 touchdowns through the air and have allowed a 101.6 passer rating to opposing quarterbacks.
