This week is a bit of a nightmare for fantasy football. We have six NFL teams on bye, and plenty of other relevant fantasy wide receivers are injured. This is enough to give you headaches when figuring out who to start. That is where we come in, helping you with this Week 7 WR Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em analysis.

Obviously, there are some players who are must-start every single week due to where you drafted them, such as Tyreek Hill, Stefon Diggs and Davante Adams. However, the WR2 and WR3 positions are a bit more fluid, causing some tough decisions to be made. To help you through these tough decisions, check out our weekly fantasy football rankings and read on for our Week 7 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em analysis at WR.

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 7 WRs

Start: Brandon Aiyuk Fantasy Outlook at Vikings

Brandon Aiyuk has been a solid player this season, ranking as WR18 despite missing a game. This week, the San Francisco 49ers could be without both Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey, leading to them relying a bit more on Aiyuk. There couldn’t be a better week for this to be the case.

The 49ers face the Minnesota Vikings this week. The Vikings have surrendered the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing WRs. Only one team has given up 100 receptions to WRs this season, and it’s the Vikings.

Brandon Aiyuk also has three touchdowns in four Monday games, and he is in a great position to increase the total this Monday. He is a very solid “start” in this week’s Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em in Week 7.

Start: Amari Cooper Fantasy Outlook at Colts

Is Deshaun Watson or PJ Walker starting at quarterback this week? Who knows and who cares… though Watson would help Amari Cooper out a bit more. Regardless, get Amari Cooper in your fantasy football lineup this week.

Cooper turned in a solid performance with Walker at quarterback last week, totaling four receptions for 108 yards. This week, he gets a matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. Not only does this mean Amari Cooper is playing on turf, where he has thrived in his career, but the matchup is sweet as well. The Colts have given up some big performances to top WRs this season: Calvin Ridley (101 yards), Nico Collins (146), Puka Nacua (163) and DeAndre Hopkins (140). Cooper could be the next WRs to post 100+ yards against them.

Sit: Calvin Ridley Fantasy Outlook at Saints

The New Orleans Saints have a solid defense, Trevor Lawrence is either not healthy or inactive, and Calvin Ridley has two games with over 40 yards this year. So, why are some still viewing him as a low-end WR1? Hell, he’s barely in WR2 consideration in a week where six teams are on bye.

There are too many question marks here to have any confidence in Ridley, which is why he is in the bottom section of this Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em. While he’s not a must-sit, you may want to check out the fantasy football rankings, since you may have a better option.

Sit: Michael Pittman Jr. Fantasy Outlook vs Browns

Michael Pittman Jr. is coming off of a solid performance, but that was against the Jacksonville Jaguars. This week, Pittman faces a Cleveland Browns defense that is the best against fantasy football WRs. The Browns have given up just seven receptions to opposing WRs per game, and they have allowed just a single touchdown.

Regardless of quarterback play, Michael Pittman Jr. should probably be sat this week. However, if Gardner Minshew has another performance like last week, then Pittman really shouldn’t see your starting lineup this week.
