A week after the very first NBA Top Shot pack drop of Series 3, we have another massive drop on Friday, November 12th at 11 am PST. The second release of the series will be more accessable than the first, and the release features 36 all-new moments, highlighted by some exciting rookie debuts. What is Different About This Pack Drop?
The big difference about this NBA Top Shot pack drop compared to the first one of the series is accessibility. While I was able to open packs, many interested users missed out. Props to Dapper Labs, since they listened to the community and quickly adjusted.
While the first drop featured 225,000 packs, Release 2 will have 350,000. On top of that, users were able to purchase 10 packs last time, but we are limited to only five this time around.
Aside from that, we have both new moments and others that were released last week. The price will again be $9 per pack, which featured three base set moments.
What’s New in the Release 2 NBA Top Shot Pack?
Release 2 of Series 3 will feature 36 all-new moments. We have many rookie moments in these packs. Dalano Banton, Chris Duarte and Josh Giddey headline the new three-star rookies in this drop, minted to just 4,000. These packs will also contain more three-star rookie moments from rookies that debuted in the first release, including Evan Mobley, Davion Mitchell and Jalen Suggs.
Along with these valuable rookies, there are moments from other NBA stars, including LaMelo Ball, Donovan Mitchell, Devin Booker, Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bradley Beal and more!
