Week 6 Fantasy Football Streamers at RB

    Alexander Mattison, MIN (vs ATL)

There is almost no chance Dalvin Cook plays next week. Alexander Mattison is about as a good as it gets on paper, for a spot-start at the running back position. Cook was on his way to career day on Sunday night against the Seahawks, before he strained his adductor. Mattison filled in for Cook admirably, just like he always does when Cook gets hurt. He carried the ball 20 times for 112 yards and added three receptions for 24 yards. He gets to play the Falcons this week, who are proving to have one of the worst defenses in the league. They seem to get a new injury every week and Mike Davis just gashed them for 149 total yards and one touchdown.

Check out our RB Snaps and Usage stats from Week 5 of the NFL season! These stats are good for projecting value, also helping to find potential fantasy football streamers.

    J.K. Dobbins, BAL (at PHI)

It hasn’t been great for the Ravens running backs this year. Actually, it’s been bad. They are the definition of a committee, with Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards, JK Dobbins and Lamar Jackson all getting rushing opportunities. This is a gut call. I had Edmonds in this article last week, despite the limited volume, because of his big play ability on an offense that I thought would put up a lot of points. I think it’s a very similar situation with the Ravens playing the Eagles. The Eagles have allowed the 24th most points in the league, and I don’t see them stopping the Ravens at all. Dobbins is a big play waiting to happen. He got 34 yards on the one carry he got last week. Dobbins was also third on the team in receiving, with three receptions for 21 yards. I think he’s going to get more and more usage as the season continues, with all the explosive plays he’s been making, and a few of those plays this week could make him one of the top fantasy football streamers.

    Chase Edmonds, ARI (at DAL)

Chase Edmonds made an appearance in this article last week and he came through, to the tune of 3/36 rushing with one touchdown, and 5/56 through the air. He has 13 receptions on the season to Kenyan Drake’s five. Edmonds has looked more explosive than Drake all year, and I think the Cardinals are going to continue giving him more looks. I think the Cowboys game is going to be high scoring, and it currently has a high 54.5 over/under. Edmonds can break off some big plays in this one and, if he can haul in a few receptions like he has been, he can be a sneaky good play for a second week in a row.
