Well, defenses around the NFL didn’t exactly show up for the first week of the season. We saw high point totals, missed tackles and a ton of sloppy play. However, from a fantasy football IDP perspective, it wasn’t all bad.
Defenses really struggled to get off the field, resulting in high tackle totals for many players. We saw eight different players rack up 12+ tackles, and there were two pick-sixes as well. I started the season ranked fourth overall for my fantasy football IDP rankings, but now that we have more film, snap counts and other data on these teams, we’re adjusting and coming to that top overall spot!
