There are many tough decisions, but not many are tougher than whether you should start or fade a player for DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports). This article will make these decisions easier than harder. Read up and enjoy three fantasy football stats to know about for each NFL Week 9 game!

Fantasy Football Stats for Every NFL Week 9 Matchup

Philadelphia Eagles vs Houston Texans

AJ Brown averages six receptions, 94 yards and one touchdown in his six career games against the Texans. Brown has scored a touchdown against the Texans in five of those six games. In five games this year, the Texans have allowed a receiver to have 94 or more yards, but only one of them has scored a touchdown.

The Texans have allowed the second-least touchdowns to QBs, with five. Meanwhile, Jalen Hurts has the fifth most touchdowns for a QB with 16,

In the last three games, the Eagles have allowed a TE to score 9.7 or more points in PPR fantasy football stats. Out of the triple threat of TEs the Texans have, Jordan Akins has scored over 9.7 points twice this season.

Los Angeles Chargers vs Atlanta Falcons

In the last three games, the Falcons have allowed four different WRs to score 27 or more points in PPR leagues. In Keenan Allen’s last 18 games, he has scored 19 or more points in PPR leagues seven times.

Marcus Mariota has scored three touchdowns in a game in two of his last three games. He has also finished QB10 or higher in three of his last four games. The Chargers have only allowed one QB to score three or more touchdowns in a game, and in their last four games, QBs have finished between 15th-17th.

In the last two games, the Chargers have allowed kickers to score 10+ Fantasy Points and finish as a top-five kicker. Younghoe Koo is coming off a game where he scored over 10 fantasy points and finished second for Week 8. That was the second time this year that he finished as a top-five kicker.

Miami Dolphins vs Chicago Bears

Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle both have four 100-yard games this season, and three of them happened in the same game. The Bears have not allowed a 100-yard WR in their last 11 non-divisional games, but are currently on a two-game streak of allowing 11+ points to a WR in PPR scoring.

In every game that Tua Tagovailoa has played every snap, he has thrown for over 260 yards and a touchdown. Only one QB that the Bears have faced has thrown over 260 yards and scored a touchdown.

In three of the last five games, the Dolphins have allowed two different WRs to score 10 or more fantasy points in PPR scoring from the same game. The Bears have done that twice in the last three weeks.

Carolina Panthers vs Cincinnati Bengals

D’Onta Foreman has gone two straight games with 118 rushing yards. The Bengals have not allowed a 118-yard RB in any game this season, but they did allow their first 100-yard RB last week.

In PJ Walker’s last two games, he’s been a QB15 or higher but did not score 20 fantasy points. The Bengals allowed their first QB to score 20 fantasy points against them on Monday night.

DJ Moore has gone two straight games with seeing 10 or more targets and scoring a touchdown. The Bengals have allowed five different WRs to have 10 or more targets this season, and none of them scored a touchdown.

Green Bay Packers vs Detroit Lions

In three of the four games where D’Andre Swift plays, Jamaal Williams has scored two touchdowns. The last time the Packers allowed an RB to score two touchdowns was in Week 8 of last season. The downside for the Packers is that they have allowed an RB to score 15 or more points in PPR leagues in four of the last five games.

In their last three home games, the Lions have allowed a QB to throw over 300 yards and throw multiple touchdowns and score 25 or more fantasy points. Aaron Rodgers has not done that in his last 12 regular season games.

Robert Tonyan has scored a touchdown against the Lions in three straight games. The Lions have allowed a tight end to score a touchdown in the last two games, and four tight ends to score in the last four games.

Las Vegas Raiders vs Jacksonville Jaguars

Derek Carr is on a current four-game streak of not having over 255 passing yards and having zero or one touchdown in three of those four games. The Jaguars are currently on a two-game streak of not allowing the opposing quarterback to pass for more than 255 passing yards, with one of the two quarterbacks only one touchdown.

In their last three games, the Jaguars have allowed four different WRs to score a touchdown, with all of them being held for under 65 yards. Davante Adams has been held under 65 yards in three games this season, and he scored a touchdown in two of those three games.

In the last four weeks, Evan Engram is TE5 in PPR fantasy football stats and is tied for the second-most targets for TEs and receiving yards for TEs in those four weeks. In four of their first five games, the Raiders allowed a TE to score more than 10 points in PPR scoring.

Indianapolis Colts vs New England Patriots

In the last five weeks, the Patriots have had the most interceptions, with eight. In their last two matchups, the Patriots have intercepted the Colts three times.

In the three games that Jakobi Meyers has played when Mac Jones has played a full game, Meyers has seen 12 or more targets twice. The last time a non-divisional WR had 12 or more targets against the Colts was Jakobi Meyers in Week 15 of last season, he went for six receptions for 44 yards and no touchdowns.

Jonathan Taylor hasn’t finished RB19 or higher and scored more than 16 points in PPR fantasy football stats since Week 1. The Patriots haven’t allowed an RB18 or higher since and allowed any RB to score more than 16 points since Week 2.

Buffalo Bills vs New York Jets

In Josh Allen’s last four games against the Jets, he’s thrown for over 300 yards three times, he’s thrown for two touchdowns three times, and has thrown no interceptions three times. The Jets are one of 14 teams to not allow a 300-yard passer this season. The Jets have also not allowed a QB to score two touchdowns since Week 4, and the Jets have only two games this season where they have not logged an interception.

In Michael Carter’s rookie season, he did not rush over 40 yards against the Bills. Michael Carter has not gone over 42 rushing yards in a game since Week 1.

Stefon Diggs averaged 8.5 receptions on 13.5 targets for 121.5 receiving yards and a touchdown in the last two games against the Jets. Three of the four WRs to have 10 or more targets that faced the Jets this season have scored a touchdown, but only one of them went over 100 receiving yards.

Minnesota Vikings vs Washington Commanders

Kirk Cousins is on a current three-game streak of having scored multiple touchdowns. The Commanders have only allowed one quarterback in the last four weeks to have more than one touchdown in a game.

Justin Jefferson has gone on a four-game streak of having 95 or more receiving yards and not scoring a receiving touchdown. The Commanders have not allowed a 95-yard WR in four straight games, after allowing a 95-yard WR in each game in Weeks 1-4.

The Vikings have allowed a finish of QB10 or higher in their last two games, with each QB throwing for over 325 yards, two or more touchdowns, and two interceptions. In Taylor Heinicke’s last two starts, he’s thrown for over 200 yards, scored two total touchdowns, and has thrown an interception in each start.

Seattle Seahawks vs Arizona Cardinals

Ever since DeAndre Hopkins came back, he leads the league in receptions, targets, and receiving yards. The Seahawks have not allowed a 90-yard WR since Week 1. In the last four games against each other, the Cardinals have three games where they target a wide receiver 10 or more times, and none of them went over 65 receiving yards.

In five straight games against the Seahawks, no Cardinals running back has gone over 100 total yards. In fact, the Cardinals are only one of three teams this season to not have a 100 total-yard RB against the Seahawks.

The Cardinals are one of five teams this year to allow 2,000 or more passing yards and 15 or more total touchdowns to QBs this season. Geno Smith is on a two-game streak of throwing 210 or more yards and two touchdowns.

Los Angeles Rams vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

In the last four games, the Buccaneers have only one 100-yard WR and only one WR has scored a touchdown. The Rams in their last three games, have not allowed a 100-yard WR and only one WR to score a touchdown.

In the last four games, the Buccaneers have allowed a WR to score a touchdown, receiving or rushing, but not go over 100 yards. The Rams are on a two-game streak of not having a 100-yard WR but having a touchdown.

In Matthew Stafford’s two games against the Buccaneers last year, he threw for 355 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Stafford has thrown for over 300 yards in one game this season.

Tennessee Titans vs Kansas City Chiefs

In Derrick Henry’s four career starts, including playoffs, against the Chiefs, he averages for 125 rushing yards and a touchdown. In the Chiefs last three games, they’ve allowed two 100-total-yard RBs.

The Chiefs have allowed two touchdowns to WRs in three of their last four games. The Titans WR group has scored only one touchdown this season. The last time a Titans WR scored two touchdowns in a game was in Week 6 of 2020.

Since Week 1, the Titans have not allowed an RB to have over 70 rushing yards and haven’t allowed a rushing touchdown in that span either. No Chiefs RB has gone over 70 rushing yards in their last three games.

Baltimore Ravens vs New Orleans Saints

The Ravens have allowed four rushing touchdowns to RBs in the last three weeks (3rd most!), but have allowed the third least rushing yards in the last three weeks. Ever since Alvin Kamara has come back from injury, he has 100 total yards in every game.

The Ravens have allowed the third most receiving yards to WRs this season with 1,584 (198 yards per game). While the Saints have the fifth most receiving yards to WRs this season with 1,435 (179 yards per game).

The Saints are one of three teams to not allow a receiving touchdown to a TE this season. In five games this season, a Ravens TE has scored a touchdown.
