Teams on Bye: IND, NYJ, SF, CAR

Good news: this is the final bye week! Hopefully you have navigated through these bye weeks with relative ease, and things should hopefully be smooth sailing from here with no surprises…right?

Brock Bowers Injury Update Leaves Fantasy Owners Scrambling

September 13, 2025

We are on the final stretch before fantasy playoffs, so there aren’t a ton of add/drops this week. Drops are very much subjective at this point, as are adds. If you are comfortable about making the playoffs, you’re obviously looking towards to playoff matchups and trying to build safety with your team by securing handcuffs. If you are still fighting for one of the last spots, you need someone to produce for you right now.

Let’s jump right into it and see if we can find some gems to win you the championship! I will be giving you some suggestions of players you should add or drop, with each player’s ownership in ESPN leagues.

Players to Add

QB Jay Cutler, MIA (8.9%)

Cutler will likely be one of the more popular streaming options talked about in the fantasy community this week. He will be at home against Tampa in the the matchup we have been dreaming about since this summer: Cutler vs. Fitzpatrick. Has the Super Bowl come early?

RB Jamaal Williams, GB (2.7%)

The rookie in Green Bay that we initially thought would have value finally does. Now alone in the backfield after injuries to Montgomery and Jones, Williams could see a 20-touch game on Sunday.

RB Danny Woodhead, BAL (39.4%)

Woodhead is eligible to return this week and should be a valuable PPR running back in a season full of injuries. Having a running back you feel good about each week is a luxury, so pick up Woodhead and hope he can return to form.

RB Samaje Perine, WAS (6.1%)

Here we go again. Kelley is out “multiple games,” so Perine falls into some sort of relevance. The opportunity is obviously there, so we will see if he does anything with it.

WR Marqise Lee, JAC (42.6%)

Lee has double-digit points in each of the past four games, and he has a winnable matchup with the Browns this week.

WR Dontrelle Inman, CHI (0.7%)

I just want to point out how NOBODY was talking about this guy last week…except for me. You’re welcome. I got a couple screenshots from people who played him and won their matchup, so that one’s for you. Same thing this week for Inman. The only other legitimate pass catchers on the Bears are running backs.

TE Jermaine Gresham, ARI (1.4%)

Without Palmer at quarterback, the Cardinals suddenly feel like using a tight end. He has a touchdown in each of the past two games, and he has a few positive matchups coming up.

Players to Drop

QB Andy Dalton, CIN (43.7%)

I have a feeling the Broncos defense will show up this week. Dalton has plays the Steelers in a couple weeks, so there better options for you going forward.

RB Aaron Jones, GB (85.7%)

Jones injured his MCL is will miss about a month, so he’s done for fantasy purposes.

RB Mike Gillislee, NE (50.4%)

Gillislee was a healthy scratch against Denver. He has also been a staple in this article.

WR Will Fuller V, HOU (80.6%)

He wasn’t good without Watson anyways, and now he hurt his ribs.

WR John Brown, ARI (30.8%)

Brown has totaled just three catches since Palmer went down hurt in week 7.
