How To Watch Australia Vs. Canada Women’s World Lacrosse championship 2022: Updates, Time, and mores

Australia Vs. Canada lacrosse

It’s the third day of the 2022 women’s world Lacrosse championship and first up are the two-time world champions Australia up against the previous edition’s runner-ups, Canada. Both teams have lost their opening game against their respective opponents, so they will be looking to bounce back strong to keep the morale going.

Australia looked a weaker side than Canada in their first encounter. They were entirely dominated by a young English side yesterday with the score standing at 12-4 in the favor of latter. During the whole match, there was no point where the Aussie side seemed comfortable with the ball. They were kept along the wall during all this time. It will be interesting to see how they will bounce back.

While, on the other hand, Canada had a pretty decent outing against the record winners, USA in their first encounter. The team in red kept probing, giving no easy space to their opponents to score. They will be looking to get on the board against this Aussie team when the two meet this evening at the Unitas Stadium.

Here is what you all need to know about this thrilling encounter.

What To Expect:

Australia’s coach Trish Adams will be hoping that his team would forget whatever happened yesterday and will build on the preparation they had back home. The only player that looked to be in rhythm during their encounter against England was Theadora Kwas. Kwas tried to keep her team competitive during the first quarter but received little to no support from the rest. Adams will be hoping that her team’s senior members will step up in this all-important encounter.

While for Canada, the veteran Dana Dobbie and the youngster, Alie Jimerson were on-song during their first encounter. The two looked sharp in between the lines, combining with short passes and finishing the moves when it mattered. Their team would be hoping that the two will be back at their best and propel them to the first victory of this competition.
