The 2024 NFL Draft is expected to feature many great offensive linemen. For many teams, this is just in time, as the offensive line play across the league worsens, resulting in key injuries and overall bad football. Offensive tackle in particular is deep in the 2024 NFL Draft, and while Graham Barton out of Duke is listed as a tackle by some, there’s no chance he plays there in the NFL.

We know he is going to hear his name announced early, but who is going to draft Barton? There seem to be several teams interested and in the mix. Below, we will give a Graham Barton draft projection from many industry experts, as well as look at a Graham Barton draft profile and scouting report.

Graham Barton Scouting Report

Strengths

Graham Barton has versatility, making starts at center his freshman year before moving to left tackle. His game has a bit of nastiness to it, finishing blocks with some attitude in the run game. He also has great grip strength and his hand placement is consistent. Barton is a technically sound player.

Weaknesses

He played tackle the past three seasons, but there’s no way he can consistently succeed at the position in the NFL due to his size (not a knock, as long as he plays on the interior). Barton is shorter while also having short arms. He doesn’t recover well after he is beaten on the outside, and he sort of launches himself in the open field instead of forming up on linebackers.
