As is often the case with non-conference opponents in college basketball, Duke and Michigan State haven’t played each other often. Although Duke has won 14 of their previous 18 matchups, the two teams have split the last four matchups. Most recently, Duke bested Michigan State 85-76 in the second round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament.

While both of these teams have suffered a loss already this season, the two teams couldn’t look more different. Duke lost a close and contested affair against the now-No. 3 Arizona Wildcats, 78-73.
