When is the 2025 NFL Draft?

The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The draft will take place in Green Bay, WI, which brings plenty of potential challenges. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 25th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, April 26th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.

Demetrius Knight Jr. Scouting Report

Strengths

Knight is physically built to play off-ball linebacker in the NFL, and he isn’t afraid to throw his head around. He is a tough, aggressive player who will fly around and make plays. Knight has long arms and is a good athlete, allowing his shed blockers and cover a lot of ground. He also processes plays quickly and is a very good tackler.

Weaknesses

I love his aggressiveness, but it will get him in trouble at times as well. His speed isn’t great, so he may not be able to stick with some of the top athletes in coverage. There will also be teams that view his age and six college football seasons as a negative.
