Fight Preview:

BKFC KnuckleMania 3 main event is headlined by the much-awaited bout for the BKFC Light Heavyweight World Championship, set to take place between “Double Champ” Lorenzo “The Juggernaut” Hunt (8-1-0, 7 KOs) and Interim Light Heavyweight Champion Mike “The Marine” Richman, (4-0-0, 4 KOs) where the former will defend his title against the latter in the championship unification.

Since joining the roster, Lorenzo Hunt, BKFC light heavyweight champion and BKFC cruiserweight champion, has been one of the most successful fighters in the BKFC, winning titles in two different divisions and looking forward to becoming BKFC’s first-ever three-division champion.

In his career so far, he has recorded wins against the likes of Hector Lombard, Joe Riggs, Quentin Henry, etc. He is the number two pound-for-pound ranked fighter and is entering the ring with a seven-fight winning streak.

Although Richman is a strong fighter, Hunt is expected to prove too powerful and fast for him as his agile city, speed, and athleticism are simply unparalleled. Moreover, he has the size advantage and more brute force and explosive punching.

On the other hand, his opponent Richman, a former Bellator fighter, has a perfect 4-0 record since he transitioned to bare-knuckle competition. In October, he became the interim light heavyweight champion after a hard-fought win over Isaac Doolittle.

Richman has better-throwing wing hand skills. He is more tactical and precise. He is undoubtedly a formidable opponent to face but can easily be moved as well, and it’s unlikely that he’ll survive such punches from Hunt. That said, if he tries to fight, Hunt will win, while Richman can succeed only if he uses his boxing and movement skills well.

While at women’s strawweight, Jayme Hinshaw (1-0) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Charisa Sigala (1-3-1) will compete against each other.
